A Wolf Like Me drops his nostalgic anthem, "4:49"

A Wolf Like Me has recently revealed their gritty new single, "4:49." Now, while this may seem like a debut it's far from that, as this is a grand return after 20 years away. Aaron Reiter is the sole person behind the moniker, and his friend delivers occasional backing vocals for more depth.
...  a fuzz-soaked, grunge-tinged alt-rock blast dripping in DIY charm and Tony Hawk-era nostalgia.

The new/old cut is a grand return, and the sounds on the track range from shoegaze fuzz guitars to more alt-rock riffs and grunge-infused drums. Vocally, it's very skater rock with some big Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack vibes snarling away, giving me huge nostalgia!

The DIY spirit shines through every layer — from the haunting vocals to the aforementioned nostalgic tones. Considering this track may be two decades old, it still sounds just as fresh, so be sure to follow A Wolf Like Me for future releases!
