HalfCutLemon release their bold new album "This Ain’t Real"

Copenhagen's HalfCutLemon have today released their new album, "This Ain’t Real", released via Aenaos Records. The new album is their second, but by the sounds of it this nine-track collection of songs isn't going to be one of those 'difficult-second-album' types.

The first two tracks on the LP are two that we've featured before, so click through to read more about "Ointment" and "The Sun Is Dying".

... a bold fusion of spiky guitars, post-punk energy, and cinematic rock.

Recorded at the legendary Sweet Silence Studio with Flemming Rasmussen (who's worked with Metallica), the other songs on the release are a solid mix of spiky guitar moments and nostalgic tones that'll get you hooked.

"Up" for me was a scorcher of a song, and the intro alone got me addicted, with memories of that indie-sleaze era that had Franz Ferdinand and The Hives, a real hidden gem of a track on the album.

Another belter I adored was "Fist", with a sound that is almost protest-like, and once more the track is filled with cinematic post-punk guitar hooks laced with deep synths.

The album really all kicked off with me with the initial two singles, and the rest of it is just as good as we were expecting. turning this into a daring statement of eclectic, uncompromising rock that will have you coming back for more listens.
