Bog Witch blends folk and pop-punk on new single, "Mr. Fly"

Decatur-based artist Bog Witch (aka Wendy DuMond) has returned with "Mr. Fly", a fizzing blend of pop-punk gritindie-folk intimacy, and lo-fi pop charm

... a bold, genre-blurring mix of pop-punk grit, indie-folk warmth, and lo-fi pop charm.

Even from the get-go you're welcomed in with a buzzing fly (rather expected perhaps), but once the track gets fully going it's a big and boombastic track that has a delicuous amounts of vocal harmonies and big horn moments.

"Mr. Fly" captures the essence of an artist unafraid to blur genre boundaries, as this easily straddles several. Atmospheric, poetic, and deeply raw, this song cements Bog Witch's place as one of Georgia's most interesting acts. With vocals that can help paint a picture so vividly, we can't wait to hear more.
