London-based Olina returns with the alt-rock tune, "Smithereens", and the latest offering from the singer-songwriter comes in a long line of strong outings for her this year.
With regards to the vocals, we get tints of Sigrid to Courtney Barnett with a hint of Americana for good measure, too. Not taking away anything from the vocals, but the sounds on this track are a delight, and as the track goes by you'll be discovering lots more sounds to occupy your mind - from the indie-rock rush of guitars to more folk-driven sounds.
"Smithereens" cements Olina as a bold, uncompromising voice in the UK indie scene, and may long her talent continue.
