Based out of Glasgow but with strong ties to Venezuela is the exciting act ESTRADA Music Project, and the new offering is a stirring mix of acoustic rock and a delightful 90s shimmer, all backed up with a strong alternative-rock undertone.
... blending 90s shimmer à la Oasis and The Stone Roses with moody South American soul
"Verso Melódico" has plenty of textures that you'll find in tracks by the likes of Oasis and The Stone Roses, but with that moody South American vocal tone surrounding the track like a mist rolling in on a cold Scottish morning.
It's very atmospheric, and even though I'm not fluent in Spanish, I can appreciate how the vocals are portrayed: emotive and raw with lots of heart-on-your-sleeve moments. The track is shaped by late-night songwriting after his hospital shifts and anchored in family. It’s a heartfelt indie anthem that is sure to transcend languages.
