Out literally a few hours ago is The Trusted's new belter, "Spin", and right from the start it's filled with a rush of jangly guitars, tight rhythms and melodic pop-rock urgency. What an intro it is!

As soon as those hazy sun-laden vocals come in, you honestly feel ready to take on the summer, as it's one of those driven festival-feel type songs. Fast and hook-loaded, the track lands instantly, and I felt myself wanting to stick this on repeat even before the halfway point.
Fresh from BBC Radio 2 exposure and even more buzz surrounding them on the Southend-on-Sea scene, the four-piece sound confident and primed for wider recognition, and it sounds like they're ready for it. I can't get over how much I loved this track on the first play, so do yourself a favour - be sure to enjoy it on the first spin, as we'd love to be able to hear this for the first time again!
