Released just a few days ago was a new tune by a long-time favourite of ours, the Ottawa indie pop duo WOTTS. "little bug" sounds like the best track that they've made to date in my opinion, and even though I'm a huge fan of theirs, I felt so different listening to this on the first play, a sense of 'oh wow, this might be it' about it.
... a hazy, bass-driven, dream-laced anthem that signals the Ottawa duo have truly found their sound.

It really sounds like the duo have found their sound in this sub-genre, with a blend of atmospheric guitar tones washing out hazey sounds left, right and centre, to the thick bassline rippling through your mind, foot-stomping beats and dreamy vocals.
They really are evolving as each track gets released, and with this acting as a new taste of their upcoming EP, "COPE", we can see plenty more fans working their way to the sound of Wotts. Expansive and atmospheric yet humble.
