Lost In Town delivers a deeply affecting listening experience with "Cold Coffe". The emotive new single is a wonderfully charming cut from the London outfit, and it's their first single since "Move to Mars" came out in January of this year.
... a brief but beautifully built indie slow-burn that erupts when it counts.
Coming in at just over two minutes long, it's an incredibly rich song with strong vocals placed upon a rather simplistic guitar tone. Even though there is not much going for it in terms of layers in the first half, the track erupts in the final 50 seconds. You can hear this swaggering guitar line, drenched in reverb, with some crisp percussion, which I am sure will go a long way in convincing you to delve deep into the back catalogue.
To me, this sounds like a stripped-back indie track, which is one of their fans' deep cuts. I can imagine this being quite the mood changer when they perform it live. I loved this from the get-go, and I have played it several times since, so be sure to go check out this new track from Lost In Town now.
