The intro is filled with sun-kissed acoustic guitars and hazy vocals, offering the listener a massive insight into what the rest of the track is about. It's a very dreamy track with hints of Shugei's psychedelic and even Britpop tones throughout.
I personally adored the guitar solo that came after the 3:00 mark. It had a strong feeling that got me hooked on the track. What's best is that this track is a part of his 7-track album titled "White Light". If you enjoy "Social Disconnection", then there are so many other tracks on the album for you to get stuck into.
This is all bedroom-produced, with a hint of analogue sounds that have helped to really capture the isolation that some people feel within social media these days. So be sure to get on this track as soon as you can because it was quite the hidden gem, as far as we are concerned.
