Los Angeles indie-pop duo Queen Anne have recently dropped their fantastic and upbeat new single, "Greyhound". Composed of singer-songwriter Katie Silverman and writer-producer Sandy Chila, the new single is incredibly upbeat from the get-go, with a fun acoustic guitar introducing you to the song, and Katie's vocal tones almost beckoning you forwards.
... it's a brilliantly polished indie-pop sensation packed with radio-ready energy and irresistible acoustic hooks.
When the chorus comes in, it is one of those insanely well-produced indie pop songs that will be getting you out of your seat and dancing along. It's incredibly radio-friendly, and I can see this easily being their best track to date, easily surpassing their previous track, "BabyGirl", and its 130,000+ plays on Spotify.
If there ever was a track to get into Queen Anne with, it would be this. It is a real thrill, and on the first listen alone, I was almost hypnotised by how upbeat, pop-driven, and polished it was. This is certainly one of the best tracks we've heard all year, regardless of genre.
