Coming out of Albuquerque in the USA is blue pablo, and the new single is a sharp slice of alt-pop. The new single comes in a long line of solid single releases, and when this track opens up, it reminds me almost of The Neighbourhood in places, but with more of an alternative pop underpinning.
... a harp, atmospheric slice of alt-pop fusing deep synth lines with soaring guitar hooks.
I really do like the deep and thick synth lines that act as the base of the track, and when they interweave with the tremendous guitar hooks, it really helps to bring together the whole track. It's a really fun track and even though it sounds dark in places, it's quite an upbeat slice of music. If you wanted a track to get into the artist with, then this could be a perfect example of what they are all about.
I really loved the haunting melodies that are throughout the song, especially from the midway point onwards. Another highlight for me was towards the final minute of the track, where the vocals get a bit vocoder-coded. Before long, you are left with an atmospheric ringing of guitar in your head. It's a fantastic slice of American alt-pop that people need to hear.
