The Night and The Dirty reveals their new single, "Little Girl"

Seattle, Washington's The Night and The Dirty deliver a compelling blend of alternative rock, post-punk, darkwave, and surf-infused textures on "Little Girl". The expansive intro sounds to me like it's got an electronically charged ukulele, perhaps with some bright tones, washed over with some expansive drum patterns. ... a kaleidoscopic indie gem packed with quirky hooks and endless replay value. It's very quirky, and the intro is absolutely sizzling. As soon as those vocals come in, it reminds me a bit of the moody sounds of Morrissey and The Smiths. The atmospheric backing for those vocals is nothing short of sensational, and with the quirky electronic sounds swirling around the track, this actually helps to make it all come together in one kaleidoscopic sound. Dan Webb is a Singapore-based psychedelic fusion artist whose track "Hungry Ghosts" has recently been released. This new release is Dan's first since his album came out in 2023. This new offering also features the likes of Clive Deamer, Dennis Hamm, and Bob Lanzetti to expand on the sound that Dan has. ... a dazzling psychedelic jazz-rock journey that packs nostalgia and experimentation into two unforgettable minutes. The song is a fusion of instrumental rock and jazz, with psychedelic waves of sound coming in and out throughout the track. The sizzling sounds are absolutely breathtaking and, even though this track is just two minutes long, you are sure to be giving it another play as soon as it's finished. The psychedelic sounds on this track reminded me of Tame Impala. The Heretics' "Tidal Waves" is a powerful return from the England, UK-based band. It is only their second ever track, following their lead single "Bends & Breaks", but listen to this: you wouldn't have thought that. It is one of those unapologetically rock-heavy tracks that is going to get you hooked from the first minute. ... a high-energy rock anthem built for festivals, mosh pits, and big-stage impact. I have been listening to a lot of Feeder recently, and this song reminded me of their earlier work, so the first time I gave "Tidal Waves" a spin, I was instantly invested in it. The chorus is absolutely wonderful. The Kellows' double A-side single "I'll Make It Right / Sapphire" is a confident step forward for the Sheffield, England outfit. We have been constantly banging the drums about how great this band is, and this AA-side single really showcases their true potential. ... a bold Britpop-leaning double A-side that feels primed for festival stages and radio breakouts. The opening track sounds to me like peak Britpop, with charismatic guitars, strong vocals, and a solid backline that will just get you hooked from the first play. I personally adored the reverb-drenched guitar moments and the sun-drenched sounds that surround this track for its entire duration. "Sapphire" is the second side of the single and is more of an upbeat and vibrant affair, with a delicious guitar entering your head from the get-go. Jay Saint James delivers the relaxing new offering, "She’s The Pope"

From Ayr, Scotland, Jay Saint James delivers "She's The Pope", which is a charming effort blending indie-pop sensibility with some cinematic tones. ... a warm, heartfelt songwriting wrapped in a beautifully polished indie-pop package. One thing that will hit you from the very start is Jay's vocals. They are just so emotive and have plenty of warmth behind them, showcasing plenty of emotion and, of course, his songwriting credentials. The soft rock tones of this song are a delight to hear, especially on a Monday when I am writing this article. It's something that can just ease you into the day and help you chill out a little bit. Co-produced with Martha McBain and mastered by David Johansson, it balances polish with raw human storytelling, all about ordinary people and their lives. SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Brook Fox releases his stunning debut EP, "Everybody’s In Love"

Coming out of Burry Port in Wales is Brook Fox, and the artist's new EP is a four-track strong release filled with upbeat indie rock gems that sound like they are destined to be performed on the biggest stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. ... a confident, festival-ready indie rock EP from Brook Fox blending nostalgic hooks, cinematic moments, and modern guitar-driven energy. The opening cut, "Together", reminds me a lot of Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club, with the intro giving me massive throwbacks to the late 2000s music scene. The second track on the release is titled "Rome", and this, for me, is a great example of what he is all about. It's got a slow-burning intro and then erupts into a solid indie rock anthem just after the one-minute mark. If you like the sounds of Twin Atlantic and Biffy Clyro, then this is the kind of song that'll tickle your fancy. Moving into the second half of the EP, you find the track "Anywhere With You"....
