Danny Suede shares the sun-kissed new tune, "shadows on the pavement"

Bursting out from Spokane, United States, is Danny Suede, who has recently released his new track titled "shadows on the pavement". The new offering from the American singer-songwriter has already shot to the top of his most popular songs on Spotify, and I can easily tell why from the very first minute. ... a shimmering, uplifting slice of bedroom pop that feels made for sunny days. The opening sequence of the song is a delicate balance of acoustic guitar mixed with his serene vocals and a dash of electronic pulses just to get you all warmed up. For me, the fusion of bedroom pop and alternative pop sounds reminded me of an early Ed Sheeran as he was about to take over the British music scene. With that in mind, it sounds like Danny is also going in that direction. It is such an uplifting track and has brilliant shimmering moments that make this an unmistakably top pick for your Sunkissed playlists. He is an artist who is on the rise, so be sure to listen to him as soon as you...

The Owl Sounds returns with their big new single, "K-Town"

Hailing from Wexford, Ireland, The Owl Sounds have sensationally returned with their exhilarating follow-up to their debut single, "Oscar". ... a dynamic '90s-infused alt-rock single packed with driving basslines and unstoppable melodic hooks. "K-Town" is a dynamic track that has a solid bassline with an alternative rock underbody that reminds me a lot of the mid- to late-1990s scene. If you liked the more melodic new tracks and offerings from the likes of Stereophonics, then this is a perfect middle ground for you, with plenty of hooks to have you leaning in at every opportunity. Considering they are now only two singles into their career, this is certainly an offering that will have you pining for more. Be sure to check out their social media, as we feel like this band could be blowing up at any time. Want us to hear your music? Hitlist shares the infectious new song, "Dirtbrain"

Leeds, UK outfit Hitlist return with "Dirtbrain", an infectious anthem that captures the essence of modern angst with stylish licks of guitar. The track sits in that perfect region between vibrant Britpop hooks, post-punk, and the more '80s punkier sound, especially with the direct vocals. ... a high-voltage, Britpop-infused post-punk anthem packed with infectious hooks and chaotic energy. It's got a chaotic energy that is undeniable and will certainly have you tapping along with your feet, your head, or whatever limb is ready. You'll be able to tap along with it in no time. It's got such an addictive beat; it's insane. Considering this is their second standalone single following their debut, "Girlfriend", in February of this year, they've since gone on to release an EP titled "Cereal", but this is where the band is now. I feel like it is a great gateway song if you wanted to discover their sound. Even though it is sub-three minutes...

Korda Korder showcases their best on "Edge Of The World"

Bexhill, England's own Korda Korder deliver their finest release yet with "Edge Of The World". Right from the outset, the track has a lush dream-pop wash mixed with a delicate touch of shoegaze, reminding me a lot of The Cranberries and Wolf Alice. ... a stunning, shoegaze-tinted dream-pop epic that showcases Korda Korder at their absolute finest. Building upon their acclaim with Glastonbury and SXSW, as well as support from BBC Radio 6 Music alongside plenty of online zines, it sounds like they are now ready to go into their ballad phase with this absolute epic three-minute piece. It's one of their slower-paced tracks, but still packs a punch with how stunningly beautiful it is, with the vocals balancing perfectly with the shimmering guitar lines and crisp backline. If you are looking for a fantastic new act from the UK to follow, then I would always recommend this band. They are forever showcasing their talent, and it is just a matter of time before the world knows ...

Tara Van returns with her big new offering, "Miles On It"

Back with her first single since 2024 is Toronto, Canada singer-songwriter Tara Van. She has delivered a stunning blend of neo-soul and dreamy-pop tones on this new single. The track "Miles" starts off with a gorgeous lick of vocals and acoustic guitar before steadily building up to a delightful verse where you can hear cinematic synth tones washing over the track, mixed in with some ethereal backing vocals. ... A triumphant, soul-stirring comeback blending ethereal vocals with cinematic, dreamy-pop warmth. Written in collaboration with Mark Calderone, this new track is quite the return for an artist who released her debut album in 2023 and since then has gone on to get tens of thousands of plays across her tracks. Baby Tapir reveals their intriguing song, "Bright And Morningstar"

Coming out of Milwaukee, United States, indie artist Baby Tapir delivers an intriguing earworm of a new single, "Bright And Morning Star". Written, recorded, and mixed entirely by himself, the self-produced track balances a smooth synth tone with a very indie-rock core. ... an irresistible, synth-driven indie gem bursting with genre-bending swagger and early 2000s energy. I personally love the drumbeat on this, and the synths also reminded me in part of The Killers' early work. The vocals are a good element to point out as it sounds like they've been sung through a megaphone, helping to give the track a bit more of a unique edge compared to other music within the genre. With this song being his ninth of the year, I can also see it being one of his best-performing songs of the year thanks to how accessible the sound is. Be sure to keep an ear out for that chunky bassline after the halfway point. As for me, that was the moment when I knew that I was going to be sticking...

Bloodyarvo reveals their debut single, "Feel My Heart Sleeps"

Sitting at zero monthly listeners on Spotify is Bloodyarvo, however, the reason for that is that they have JUST launched onto the streaming service with their their debut single, "Feel My Heart Sleeps" - and my goodness what an intro to the band we have. As debut singles go this is certainly in the 'God Tier' Opening up with smooth almost soulful vocals and drips of guitar tones sets the mood for the rest of the song, it's slightly seductive and funky. Instrumentally in the verses it's stripped back with not too many instruments crowding it all, ensuring that you can really get a chance to hear every member of the band at their finest. Mood-wise it reminds me of a slow Foals track but with the psychedelia nods of Tame Impala's more upbeat tracks, add some almost grunge sounding guitars and drums and this song will turn you into a fan like it did for me. In their bio the band mentions - "It's about what Ariq (front-man) experienced during 2020 lock...

SCATTERCHILD unleash their new tune, "FRUSTRATOR"

Manchester, England art-rockers SCATTERCHILD have recently unleashed their mega new indie-rock track, "FRUSTRATOR". The latest track from the band is their second of the year and is a kaleidoscope of deep alt-rock sounds, with some experimental elements thrown into the mix, too. ... a dark, synth-layered alt-rock masterpiece packed with aggressive grooves and immense Radiohead-level ambition. I personally loved how the bass warmed up the inner workings of my mind with some stunning and aggressive grooves mixed into the synths, giving you quite a dark song to really get stuck into. From the very first play, I knew that this would be quite the earworm, and since I've listened to it a few times on repeat, I've found more and more layers to discover in the track. They sound to me like one of the new breed of bands that are slowly but surely making their way out of Manchester onto the wider scene. If they keep on making tracks such as this, then I can see them rivalling th...
