Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Benjamin Rajani reveals the intimate new track, "Mánakvøld"

Coming out of the music scene in Copenhagen is Benjamin Rajani with his new single, "Mánakvøld." Translated into "Monday" and "Moon Night" the name of the track is rather fitting, as this new single sounds like the perfect track to ease into the week with, and also for chilling out to. ... a sublime track to sink into no matter what The song is in Faroese (a language from the Faroe Islands) and even though I know a couple of European languages sadly I'm not too familiar with this one, but I can easily tell you that there's plenty of emotion behind it. Get ready for Weathership's epic new album, "Splendid Beast"

Spoiler warning... Get ready for Weathership's epic new album, "Splendid Beast", as this is a nine-track collection of tracks that'll be sure to get you hooked on their sound. The whole album is a concept that takes the listener on an exploration of life’s greatest duality, fear and love - with that in mind lets head right in and get stuck into the first trio of tracks. The Teeside-based quintet did not hang about one bit with the first track on the album "Golden Age", as it's one incredibly atmospheric affair with over a minute of sonic sounds interwoven with guitar sounds that are kissed with reverb. Vocally it's very dark and showcases the band perfectly if you ask me. The following two tracks "The Blue" and "Through The Fog" go into a different direction with the former sounding almost like a Wild Beasts song with the percussion and charming bassline seemingly seducing me in an instant. Coming out of Woodstock in New York State is Spillway with their raw new single, "Honest Song". The charming new cut is in collaboration with Calica, and if this is what happens when these two acts come together then we need a full-on album as it's simply gorgeous. simply gorgeous Vocally it's one of the most tender things I've heard recently, and when you're deep in the song you half forget that this is a sub-three-minute cut as you're seemingly taken away from reality and are immersed. The instrumentation on "Honest Song" is very simplistic in nature, but incredibly effective. The acoustic guitar is at the forefront of the single, with a sliding country-sounding tone wallowing away in the background which adds more depth and flavour to the song. The Sunmills are based out of Utah, and the band has recently dropped their chunky new tune, "Rock and Roll". Now, with a title like that, it has to be a minimum belter, and the lads have not let us down on that front. ... Queen flair meets 90s grit in glorious style. Right from the start, it has that feel that you're going to be vibing hard with it, and the vocals alone got us feeling that way. It's very Queen but with a modern twist to it, with the pacing of the song ensuring that you could happily dance to this on the very first listen. Add in some 90s rock tones to proceedings later into the track and what you have is a song that feels equally fresh and yet nostalgic at the same time. Based out of London is Lazyboysadgirl, and not too long ago, the act unveiled their atmospheric new single, " Floating ". ... dreamy guitars and lo-fi charm, an ethereal bedroom pop gem you’ll want on repeat. Not at all pun-intended, but the track is very light, airy and hazy (floating dream-pop perhaps), and the vocals on this really set it above many other tracks in the dream-pop genre I've listened to recently. "Floating" sits perfectly on the border of psych-pop , bedroom-pop and dream-pop, with electronically charged vocals giving it even more depth. The synths and percussion on this are amazing and at points even sound like one of the newest tracks that Grimes has been working on. TYYE releases his shimmering new song, "whole thing"

Based out of Kansas City is TYYE , and recently the artist has released his new song, "whole thing", which acts as the first slice of new material since his 8-track strong album came out earlier this year. ... a shimmering alt-pop gem that channels Sam Smith 's emotion and Glass Animals ' vibrance. With over 300k plays (amongst the tracks) on the album it sounds like TYYE is going up and above with this one, aiming to be one of the hottest acts in the region. The sounds I got from this range from the emotional vocal sounds of Sam Smith to the vibrant alt-pop sounds of Glass Animals, and even the likes of M83 and ODESZA in the latter half of the song.
