Coastal Cities - By Fred Bambridge

Coastal Cities are from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Their genre could be described as Indie-Rock, Math-Rock or Post-Punk. They sound like a love-child of Foals and Data.Select.Party. They are signed to a small independent label called Serendipity Records and they are recording a mini-album in March with the current track listing:
Infinite Mind
Clockworks
Night School
Think Tank
Bins Are For Bombs
No Room For Heroes
Abandon Ship
... and possibly more!
I love 'Abandon Ship' straight from the off, twitching guitars, furious drumming, and the classic synth. Around the 2 minute mark the track peaks with then another furious instrument killing before the track slowly ends. Other tracks I have been sent (that will be available to download at the bottom of the page) are 'Clockworks' that actually does sound like a Foals demo for Antidotes that, even the vocals does sound very much like Yannis! The Foals references continue with the song 'Bins Are For Bombs', this, much like the past two tracks have a fast paced attitude about it and you can hear all of the members playing their instruments to the extreme! I end the EP review on 'No Room For Heroes' which is the best track of the 4, I love it!
