NEWS: Kaiser Chiefs return

Kaiser Chiefs are set to return to the European festival scene this summer, having been booked for Switzerland's Gurten Festival this summer. The Leeds band have been on hiatus since 2009 and last released an album, 'Off With Their Heads', in 2008.

News coming from NME states that they are preparing a new album for release this summer, with rumours possibly in June. The Gurten Festival is their only confirmed live booking of the year so far, with Arctic Monkeys, Underworld, The Streets and Jamie Cullum also on the bill. But keep an eye out for homecoming shows with a warm up gig being likely too.



The event takes place on July 14-17. See their official website for more information. The new album is set to be released on the band's new record label, Fiction. Of which has the likes of White Lies and The Maccabees
