Unlike some bands We Are Tokyo have kept me on the edge of my seat since I started the blog nearly two years ago. Their latest offering 'Never' is certainly a great track that has been well worth the wait. The video is amazing too as is the remix that Alex (Vocalist + Guitarist) done. Never:
I can't express how good this track is but the production and mixing on the track is second to none, and to think this is all done by the band! The track is a Synth heavy Indie track with the guitar styling their fans are use to. The way this tracks build from a simple piano, with the fading in of the synths and Alex's vocals you are lulled into thinking this is a slow track. Anything but. After the 01:30 mark the track suddenly gains body and your ears are treated to a wonderful sound.
Never (We Are Tokyo Remix):
This dancier version of the track is one for the dance floor. And considering that it is for free you better jump on the bandwagon as this track is a killer track! It starts all distorted and then it drops, pure rave music! It's so good I think if this has the right publicity this could easily sneek into a 'Ministry of Sound' compilation!
