Gig Review... Morning Parade @ Heaven, London, 6th March 2012

Morning Parade's biggest headline date so far went down as a right treat to all of their fans, just 24 hours after they played The Scala in Kings Cross the tickets went on release, and we all knew what for, the album! Yes after nearly four years after Morning Parade first played a show the lads released their début album.

The show kicked off with 'Marble Attic' which is one of their oldest songs, the crowd instantly took to the band and started going mad for them! It was a set-list mainly comprised of the album apart from the opening song and 'A&E' which Steve described as "A golden oldie", and too right, this is the oldest song that is still doing the live rounds! Apart from that and 'Marble Attic' I was hoping to look forward to 'Speechless' and 'Headlights', these two tracks are my favourite off the album and after hearing them countless times live I knew I was in for a treat, and I was. Everyone sang along to 'Headlights' so for the first time I wouldn't feel like an idiot singing on my lonesome! It's been a long time coming but the show and the album were both worth the long wait. The lads are currently in the USA doing SXSW and other size shows to get their name out in America. If you don't believe me, watch the FULL GIG BELOW!!! Yes that's right, some amazing person has uploaded it!
