As some of you may know Bloc Party yesterday (12th April 2012) sent an email to their fans with secret ticket links for their even so more secret gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, London, New York and Honolulu. Now the vast majority of their fans missed out on the tickets due to being at work for 9am, they sold out completely at noon that same day.
Most only knew later on that way and now there is a massive price hike for them. I hear wind of a 'General Sale' on the 20th so keep an eye out for that. The band are currently in the studio in New York recording the follow up to 2008's 'Intimacy', which they've just finished writing. I thankfully got tickets for Glasgow... I live in Cambridge, this shall be interesting to tell my real work!
