Track of the week... Shrink - Gloom

After toying and testing with a variety of sounds under various names, Shrink have unearthed a mature and distinguished tone that oozes confidence, originality and flair. Without disregarding the live circuit, experience is something that the four-piece both possess and flaunt. After bombarding the nation’s capital and corners of southern England in venues such as Camden Barfly, 93 Feet East, Bedford Esquires, The Portland Arms and many more, the band have a polished and perfected an astonishing live set.

Shifting more than 2,500 copies of old free download EPs under previous names, Shrink are no strangers to hard work, grafting, and self-promotion. They're now under a new name and with a brand new song to launch with. "Gloom" has layers of distorted ukulele, beginning with a tranquil arrangement and climaxing in a frenetic mess, "Gloom" is not a single to be ignored. The four-piece mean business!
