SAER returns with original new song, "This Time of Year"

The ever-striking SAER has today returned with an original new song, "This Time of Year", and oh boy this may be his most angelic original track to date. The new offering from the Birmingham artist is a seasonal affair, and focuses a lot on his angelic vocal tones, with plenty of melodic backing vocals giving it that added sparkle. ... a true Christmas track for modern times. "This Time of Year" it's in the same realm as other seasonal songs, with strong vocals backed up with a wonderful sheen of strings and gentle acoustic guitars. His falsetto can easily stop any listener in their tracks, regardless of what kind of music they're usually a fan of, literally by the sheer talent SAER possesses that's why! "This Time of Year" sounds like the kind of track that will come around every year for Christmas and never get old, a true Christmas track for modern times.

Little Strange drop their new single, "Hard Days Hard Times"

Manchester's Little Strange last week dropped their crunching new single, "Hard Days Hard Times", and it's just the fifth since they started releasing music back in 2019, but if you give this tune a spin you'd have thought they'd be easily two albums deep! f you're in or around Manchester be sure to look up these guys, I imagine their live shows are out of this world bass-heavy! "Hard Days Hard Times" starts off with some commanding guitar sounds, which can easily rival the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood. Vocally we have something so huge that it can easily fill up arenas all around the world, and when the percussion comes in it transforms from just an indie-rock tune to an out and out rock anthem. The breakdowns the track possesses are huge and shifts your focus onto track even more. Ella & Sienna reveal their brand new single, "New Year's Kiss"

Coming out of the Adelaide in Australia is the duo of Ella & Sienna, and today sees them reveal their brand new single, "New Year's Kiss". I'd easily put the vocal tones up there with the likes of Taylor Swift! Ella & Sienna rose to fame from their time on The Voice Australia, but since then they've gone on to prove a lot of people that they're 'more than a talent show act', and have an album (in the form of "Seven Ways To Say Your Fine") and a handful of singles since - including this. The new effort is fantastic and really sits well in the grand-scheme of things considering that New years will soon be upon us. The tones these two have are borderline sensational and is a great showcase for their talents, I'd easily put the vocal tones up there with the likes of Taylor Swift! If you need a track to get into this duo with then be sure to make it "New Year's Kiss"

Rising Irish band, Left on Read, unveil new single, "Dreams"

Based out of the charming Limerick is rising Irish band Left on Read and not too long ago the quartet unveiled their festival-ready new single, "Dreams". The single is just their fifth release, but based on how big this feels you'd be forgiven thinking that they're touring around the world already. Anthemic, captivating and filled with dreamy hooks. It's got vocal tones that can easily carry over thousands of people and not dip one bit, soaring guitars that can reach the stars in the sky all wrapped up in a blanket of delicate piano. "Dreams" is as what it says it is, a dreamy track that can take you above and beyond, with plenty of vocal hooks that can get plenty of people singing back at them. I feel like this may be partially written for their live shows, and why not, it's a beautiful piece of music that they can be proud of.

Galaxy Thief return with their biggest tune yet, "Last Chance"

The amazing lot at Galaxy Thief have returned with their biggest tune yet, "Last Chance", and what a way to close out their 2023 campaign more than releasing one final banger. A high-octane thrill of a song. The new track literally starts off with an abundance of swagger in the form of the guitar, but as soon as the drums hit you it feels almost like a Nothing But Thieves track. Vocally they're one of the best in their region, but this song sounds like they could break that local scene and burst into the hearts of every rock fan in the UK (and beyond). The chorus especially is punchier than Tyson Fury and goes at you like a bullet train, with it sounding like it was written as a set-closer (because why not end your set on a high octane thrill). So yeah, Galaxy Thief, they've had one amazing year and based off this track I feel like the next 12 months could define them, just be sure to see them live while you can.
