Bath's legendary venue - Moles - will be closed until August

At the very earliest Moles in Bath will be closed until August following a tragic fire that has ruined the venue.

The list of bands that have graced the stage there is massive, but some of the artists include Mumford & Sons, Blur, Oasis, Radiohead, The Smiths as well as It's All Indie favourites Seasfire, Canterbury, Coasts and As Elephants Are.

The venue manager - Laim Baker explains: "The fire damage is fairly contained because it only affected a small area of the club, which is the upstairs bar. The worst thing is smoke damage: smoke went throughout the building, into the studio and office too, and caused a lot of damage. And when the fire brigade were working to put out the fire, water filled the basement venue, which is where the bands play, so it's now completely flooded."
