Track of the week... Haus - Ceasefire

We've been fans of Haus for a couple of years now, ever since the early demos we have been big admires of theirs. When we caught them live last year we knew that the six-piece band from North London would be a big hit in the future, and after doing some tour supports including a recent stint with Jaws they're certainly grabbing the attention of the labels and prolific managers and agents.

Their most recent track is a slower track of theirs, "Ceasefire" starts off with the bass and a light guitar, with a burst of vocals and a splash of summery guitar lines coming in after. The track is certainly a laid back number, maybe written while they were touring with Jaws, as it does have a slightly surf feel to it, but one thing is for certain. It's a bright summer anthem that will certainly have you swooning for more from the infectious band from North London.

The lads are currently in the studio laying down some more tunes, playing festivals and shows all over the UK. Do be sure to check them out as I can see them being one of the UK's next big exports in upbeat, fun, and energetic indie music.
