When I went down to see The New Union last year I went down with a trusty mate of mine, we went down to Liverpool Street to meet up with this young chap called Adam. He turned out to be an absolute charmer and he was one of the most smartly dressed fellas in sight, maybe it was bromance, who knows!
Turns out he is also pretty damn good at the guitar and singing too, we latched onto his demo "Shiver", and after hearing that we knew he was destined for big things. This year he was announced as an act at Reading and Leeds Festival! The A-side of his latest single is "More To Life", and it pretty much sums up his past 12 months. After being screwed around by management in the music industry, and cheap lies. Hence how this song came to be. But there's a lot more to hear from Adam, his deep and soulful vocals remind us of when we heard George Ezra's vocals, something completely different and not a cheap "Ed-Sheeran-rip-off-guy" - you know the type!
After performing two amazing sets at Reading and Leeds festival, see twitter for that, we thought it best to make people aware of this huge talent nestling in far Western London. I can see him taking off really soon, following in the shoes of fellow hard-workers Lucy Rose and Tom Odell. Every musician needs to be a role-model off stage, and I think Adam is ready for the big time NOW!
