Foals to go on hiatus until 2016 following Bestival performace

Foals last night played one of their biggest ever festival slots, it's right up in there with their 2013 performance at Glastonbury and their headline slot at Latitude, but last night at Bestival Yannis announced something that some Foals fans might get upset about.

Yannis said: "This is the last show for about eighteen months," and during the 75-minute set which spanned their entire back catalouge included a rare airing for pre-Antidotes song "Hummer" alongside regular live favourites "Inhaler", "Two Steps Twice" and "Providence".

Earlier this year Yannis said that they're going to be recording demos for the next album in May, but nothing has come of it as of yet. Also Yannis has been working with Underworld, hopefully something will come of this next year to fill the void for the fans!

Foals played (according to setlist.fm)
'Prelude'
'Miami'

'My Number'
'Blue Blood'
