Soak

Dry The River - New Cross

Dry The River today are giving away a track dedicated to a South London train station. I'm joking about the dedication but their track "New Cross" is still going as a free download today thanks to the #Transgressive10 celebrations. - Scroll on down to listen to a song that didn't make their new album.

Jamie T - 40/40 ICU

Jamie T has not completely left his old sound behind as you can hear from his new B-Side to "Zombie". "40/40 ICU" is Jamie back to his old good self, with some fans already preferring this to the new sound. - The new album "Carry On The Grudge" released 29th September 2014.

SBTRKT - Higher (Feat. Raury)

SBTRKT has revealed another new track off his upcoming LP "Wonder Where We Land" and this time round it's the track with Raury on vocals, "Higher". He does a great job laying down some soulful vocals and is serious competition for Sampha for my favourite guest vocalist on this album. - Check out the song below! You can also listen to a track he's made with Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig here, it's called "New Dorp, New York", and "War Drums" which features Warpaint!

Frett - West Coast

Earlier this week we were premièring something rather special, Frett have covered Lana Del Rey's "West Coast", and with some beautiful harmonious vocals from their guest vocalist Clarice Parrott. Her vocals give the band that added layer, people need to start taking Frett seriously, it looks like they mean business!

Gengahr - Powder

After seeing Gengahr open for Wolf Alice earlier on this year we've been a fan of theirs, and today the band have unveiled a stream of their début single which is released 27th October on Transgressive Records.

Pulled Apart By Horses - Blue Jeans

Pulled Apart By Horses have become a genuine cross-over success over the course of three impeccably noisey albums, with songs ranging from Post-Hardcore to Alt-Rock and via Noise-Rock, it's safe to say they like to be loud! - Below is a cover of Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" they done, enjoy!

Soak - B a noBody

SOAK has now signed to Rough Trade Records, she is just 18 years old, from Northern Ireland, and her songs have drawn comparisons with the likes of Cat Power and Beach House. - She's been gigging since she was 15 and has already got rave reviews from Radio 1, 6Music and XFM, and she's also been on a big European tour with CHVRCHES, and festival sets across the likes of Glastonbury and Latitude. You can check out her new track "B a noBody" below too, big things are ahead now as Rough Trade don't ever sign anyone that isn't amazing!
