E.P Review... Tom Prior - 'Bad Advice'

Tom Prior started his journey back in 2005 when he transformed his shed into a studio. He released two mix tapes between 2007 and 2008: “Take Note” Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Although these were small projects, Tom still managed to create a buzz around himself by selling an impressive 3,000 copies in street sales alone. Big things are destined to happen for the talented singer/songwriter and that has started by landing a support set for Devlin, Katy B and Ms Dynamite at London’s acclaimed ‘Somerset House’.

Recently Tom released his brand new EP ‘Bad Advice’ which is available to stream below.

His passionate piano playing and edgy lyrics work pleasantly with the indie rock style with a slight hint of hip hop thrown in there too. There are little snippets of Jake Bugg within Tom Prior's work, especially in the songs 'Common Ground’ and ‘The Altar'.
