Mac DeMarco was detained during his gig in Santa Barbara on Friday (14th November) night. During the gig, campus police from Santa Barbara University arrested two gig goers, 22 year old male and 21 year old female for trying to fight others in the crowd and moshing, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.
Later on in the gig, DeMarco went crowd surfing and climbed onto the beams across the ceiling of the venue. Once he had returned to the stage he was also arrested my campus police. According to UCSB police Lt. Mark Signa, they were unaware that they had arrested the vocalist until they spoke to him outside but the show still did not go on. Rock and roll, eh?!
