Sounds of 2015 - #8 - Darlia

Darlia this year have just got bigger and rawer, their energetic live sets have got them a whole new cluster of fans, and after Nathan wrecked his guitar playing Glastonbury they've been close to me and I've been keeping an eye on their progress. 2014 saw them play on the same bill as The Libertines as well as a whole host of shows in America and Europe. They can certainly get a crows going, as seen at their festival slots during the summer.

Their blend of good old rock'n'roll and harder, melodic anthematic-guitars is really doing them justice. Fans have been waiting for a full length LP for a while now, and that wait is going to extend itself into 2015, but with a mini-album coming out early on in the year be sure to pick one up when it's out, they always save the best tracks for the physical releases. The release of their mini-album "Petals" will also coincide with a headline tour of the UK, including an NME Awards Show at London's Garage on 17th of February.

Darlia are just going to get louder and louder, you'll be hearing from them in no time!
