Wolf Gang announce split

Synth-pop 4 piece Wolf Gang have announced their split this morning via Facebook. After realeasing two albums in the last 4 years and touring with the likes of Bastille, Keane, The Killers and Florence and the Machine, Max McElligott and his band have decided to 'move onto other things'.

Here's what the post said:
'Dear Friends,

We are very sad to announce our decision to end the band. We've had an incredible journey; we've been to amazing places and met wonderful people, and all along the way we loved sharing our music with you all, but now it's time for us to move onto other things. We want to thank each and every one of you who showed us support and enjoyed our music, you have meant a lot to us. We wish you all the best, and thanks again,
Max, James, Gav and Lasse X'

Wolf Gang have had an incredible time as a band, being signed to Cherytree records and releasing two full length albums, Suego Faults and Alveron, there has been no stopping them. Tracks such as 'Lions in Cages' were premiered on the Zane Lowe show back in 2010 and then 'Dancing with the Devil' was added to the Radio 1 B list in 2011. Their sophomore album Alveron was produced by Grammy and BRIT-Award winning producer Flood, which included the energising hit 'Black River' and the anthem 'Ghost In My Life.'

It is very saddening to see this promising alternative band become no more, however, I am sure that there are exciting projects to come from Max McElligott and his band as they are all undoubtedly very talented musicians.
