Venus Demilo crossed IAI’s radar with the single ‘Sinking Ships’ released earlier in 2016. It was a banging tune with an impressive video. So how does a band follow up such a strong single? Well with another one of course! ‘Bite My Tongue’ is a statement song that says Venus Demilo means business when it comes to song writing. Lead singer Tom Anderson’s distinct voice sets the band apart from other pop/alt/indie bands. ‘Bite My Tongue’ has a retro 80’s/90’s feel and the story-telling lyrics will resonate with the band’s followers. Venus Demilo look to be carving a niche with a distinctive sound. The future for this band is looking exciting.
