Tom Odell reveals new video for "Silhouette"

Tom Odell has a new single out now ‘Silhouette’. The track will be the fourth single taken from his latest album ‘Wrong Crowd’, which hit number 2 in the UK album charts earlier this year. Single ‘Silhouette’, features a lush Gershwin-esque string arrangement and one of Tom's most irrepressible melodies. Of the track, Odell remarks: “Recording the strings at Abbey Road was for me one of the highlights of making the album, I hope you enjoy.”


Tom Odell has also today announced he will release a Christmas EP ‘Spending All My Christmas With You’ on December 9th. The EP features new single ‘Silhouette’. Other tracks on the EP include Odell’s various BBC live session covers of ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, ‘Silent Night’ and the title track ‘Spending All My Christmas With You’, which Tom wrote exclusively for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. His top 10 version of John Lennon’s ‘Real Love’ is also featured on the festive EP.

Tom Odell’s UK leg of his world tour saw him perform eleven sold out shows across the country, beginning with a homecoming performance in Brighton. Odell capped the end of his run of UK dates with two blistering, sold out performances at Brixton’s O2 Academy. ‘Silhouette’ is taken from Tom Odell’s second album ‘Wrong Crowd’ which is out now. The LP reached the Top 10 on the iTunes Charts in over 25 countries, peaking at number 2 in the UK Official Album Charts and number 1 in 4 countries around the world. ‘Wrong Crowd’ was the follow up to Odell’s acclaimed debut album, 2013’s million selling, number 1 record “Long Way Down” - a record that led to Tom being given the highly prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year.
