Even before they met, The Kondoors already established themselves as must-see live performers, having supported and worked with a roll call of big names, notably Bryan Adams, Sam Smith, Imelda May, Rod Stewart, Rudimental and Take That.
Their new single ‘Forgiveness’ is the product of their first attempt at harmonising their vocals together in song. This was a special moment and their songwriting and companionship has never felt quite so bonded, to how it is now.
Building with a lush arrangement of piano, guitar and string sections, the pair divulge a tangible and surreal force of folk with an incredible soul edge. This builds on the couple’s powerfully romantic lyricism that facilely sways throughout dramatically.
Part of this huge sound was captured by their teamwork with flawless producer Steve Brown (Corinne Bailey Rae, Laura Mvula) who helped forge their raw, organic sound to the next level and the breathtaking vocal personality of The Kondoors was born.
