Boss of Reading Festival says - "Arctic Monkeys have their own plans"

Melvin Benn is the 'boss' of Reading and Leeds festival and in a recent interview to the BBC he said this about the possibility of the Sheffield band headlining the double-header.
“Not really. The Arctic Monkeys have headlined Reading and Leeds twice before so they’re an act we’re always talking to. Was it ever likely for this year? No, it wasn’t. They’ve got their own plans.”
This comes a week after the permit for a 'live concert' in Hillsborough was taken down, as SJM withdrew their interest.
