Singer songwriter Diggs Galliers has shared his new single "Shake" with It's All Indie. A direct authentic rock and roll tune, it has a hefty, full-on chorus destined to stay with the listener for hours on end. It is a raw and exciting offering from one of Merthyr Tydfil’s talented rising artists.

"It was a really fun track to record with the guys at Unit13 Music Studio, and one I've been wanting to put out ever since I wrote the main riff a while ago."

"The song is basically about having confidence in what you do and doing it with 100% confidence. Whether that's living your passion or just walking down the street with no self doubt."

"I think it's also got a dance vibe to it, it's pretty jumpy and upbeat."

It's All Indie spoke to the guitarist and singer songwriter earlier this year. At the time he shared some fascinating details about his songwriting.

"Sometimes I write from 6 pm in the afternoon until 6 am the next morning. I whistle melodies into my phone when I am out and about, whenever one pops into my head. I also tend to plan musical pieces in my head when I am walking the dog."

Diggs likes a range of classic rock and roll bands including the likes of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones as much as Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

Gigging in cover bands on the pub circuit from the age of eleven, Diggs started off as a singer and  decided it was time for a little change and that was when he discovered the guitar, a phase which he refers to as a "new beginning".
