Denmark has given us lots over the years, from Bacon to LEGO to furniture, but a new band to break out of the country. Their dark new single - "By The Throat" - is out now and it features their friend Jamie Stewart on the track. Jamie is famous for his work with Xiu Xiu, who are also known for their dark music.
The track is one of those tracks you'd best listen to at night, or at least with your eyes closed as you can take in all of the layers that the band have put on this track. It's a perfect mix of Americana and Gloomy Alt-Indie and highlights a band that wants to fully express themselves, with some strings and synths for good measure on top of some howling vocals, you definitely need to listen to it more than once to truly appreciate it.
