Social media is a topic often in the mouth of the media, for one reason or another as the negatives are often overlooked due to the number of positives that it brings. Highlighting subconscious effects of social media on her latest track Fake Generation is French-American indie-pop newcomer Ariane. Much in the style of recent breakthrough Grace's You Don't Own Me, the song carries a level of old-school inspired cinematic grandeur that adds a level of substance to the already strong message.
