Drew Davies unveils brooding new offering, "Beautiful World"

Drew Davies hails from South Yorkshire in the North of England (home to many talented musicians) he moved down to the Big Smoke in London and since then has been one of the fantastic singer-songwriters to come onto the scene in the past few years.

His latest offering is "Beautiful World", which is lifted from his debut EP "We Need To Talk", and really shines a light on what this man is capable of. He reminds me of a young Bowie with bis baritone vocals and slightly psych edge to the tune, nothing short of texture heavy here and we love it

Speaking of the track Davies explains: " ... 'Beautiful World' was a song I wrote about the problems facing us all. I wrote it like an episode of the 9 o'clock news, it focuses on the divisions we see in society and the disenfranchisement and fall of many to the edges of society; all set against the backdrop of the climate emergency we are living through."
