[SOUNDS OF 2020] - #11 - The Scruff

We're back with a bang this year, and sadly due to time constraints and general life we've had to cut down the 'Sounds of...' list to 15. BUT, don't feel like there will be less quality as this year has been one of the best years for emerging new acts in ages.

We've been known as a great place to discover new bands and with our 'Sounds of...' lists being very accurate you need to check back daily for updates. Last year was Sam Fender and other alumni of our lists have been James Bay, Wolf Alice, Pale Waves, Mansioanir, Years & Years, The Amazons and Mura Masa.

With the band taking to social media earlier on this year to say they're in the studio to record and write their debut LP, it's safe to say we were dead excited! The trio from Bedford are slowly but surely getting to that sweet-spot in the music industry with the hype set at 'just so', a solid amount of singles to bring to their live shows and performances that are so tight you'd be forgiven that you're listening to them on Spotify.

The trio are one of the hardest working bands in the East of England at the moment it seems, playing shows all over the UK with Busted and playing some festivals that are prone to picking up on the best new bands around such as The Great Escape and Camden Rocks.

2020 will (hopefully) see the release of their debut record, be sure to give them a follow as it should be their breakthrough year.
