[SOUNDS OF 2020] - #14 - Himalayas

We're back with a bang this year, and sadly due to time constraints and general life we've had to cut down the 'Sounds of...' list to 15. BUT, don't feel like there will be less quality as this year has been one of the best years for emerging new acts in ages.

We've been known as a great place to discover new bands and with our 'Sounds of...' lists being very accurate you need to check back daily for updates. Last year was Sam Fender and other alumni of our lists have been James Bay, Wolf Alice, Pale Waves, Mansioanir, Years & Years, The Amazons and Mura Masa.

Himalayas have also been on the quiet side this year compared to last (as far as releasing music goes), however their latest offering made up for that. The politicise charged "The Masquerade" is one of their heaviest outings yet laced with bass, crunchy guitar hooks and haunting vocals.

Also it's seen them play on the This Feeling circuit a lot, taking in the sites of the UK from North to South, performing at some of the UK's big festivals such as Reading + Leeds and even headlining one themselves, Fightstrong Festival in Coventry. The next coming 12 months is really going to test the band and see how awesome they really are, get excited!
