Liecester is famous for many things, the football club that won the English Premier League a few seasons ago, Gary Lineker, Walkers Crisps and Kasabian. Easy Life are aiming for that long list of famous names from the city as they have had a monumental rise in the past year, with it all starting before 2019 even started with their track "Pockets" getting a lot of love after it was put on the FIFA 19 soundtrack, which made it's way into 20 million homes!
The past year has seen the band release more new tunes such as "Earth" and "Nightmares" getting a lot of praise from fans and critics alike. The year was wrapped up for the Leicester five piece with the release of "Nice Guys" which is a hazy hip-hop inspired indie pop, it even took taken the nation by storm with a Jools Holland live performance, Glastonbury, and even further afield at SXSW.
Next year it looks set to get even better for the indie outfit with their "Junk Food Mixtape" currently doing bits on streaming services and a massive headline gig at Camden's Roundhouse slated for the 26th of March 2020. With a big record deal in the bag, don't expect them to fade away, they're just getting started, remember the name - Easy Life.
