Rackett drops dreamy new cut, "Ily Alley"

Rackett earlier this month dropped her dreamy new cut, "Ily Alley", which follows on from her single "Oxytoxic" which was released earlier on in the year.

Having been previously in a all female punk-rock band the transition to the solo artist you can hear today started in 2019 when she refined her sound. Right off the back of the re-launch she headlined a 14 date tour of Japan and have since had  well over 250k plays on Spotify there is one thing that's for sure, that Rackett knows how to produce tracks that people love to listen to over and over again.

A couple of her influences are Charli XCX and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, of which you can hear nods towards both, with the intricate lyrics that you'd expect to find with Karen O's work and the smooth electronics that you find with Charli XCX's tunes.

With love already coming in from none other than Triple J and Music Feeds it's no wonder this track has already started to get a lot of plays. Rackett has a solid fanbase and is certainly going to be a big artist soon with a back catalogue of tracks that can help push her into the limelight, it just in Australia but around the world.

Speaking about the new single Rackett says - " ... "ILY Alley" is a song very close to my heart, I love Alley because our friendship embodies the challenges overcome by many bands to maintain and deepen friendships throughout hardships."

"Ily Alley" is a dreamy track that sends the listener into the uppermost atmosphere in the world with some truly ethereal vocal hooks and dreamy electronic whooshes. You need to check out this track on Spotify if you're after a gorgeous and dreamy electronic based track, it won't be longer until your friends know about her, so get on this hype train asap!
