Ben Kidson reveals bouncy new single "Heaven"

Earlier on this month London based artist Ben Kidson revealed his incredibly bouncy new single "Heaven", which is the third single that he's released in 2020 and follows on from a duo of well received singles "Get Mad" and "Delicate".

The track came out from him isolating himself as he sought out a 'new sound' by hiding away in an Air BnB in Appledore, Devon. He then emerged from this isolation with a batch of new tunes combining punk and pop sounds with synthetic drums.

Speaking about his previous singles, they have got well past the 50k stream mark on Spotify and as far as we're concerned "Heaven" is going to go that way too. The cut has some solid pop vibes with a nod of west coast rap beats mixed in, very The Neighbourhood vibes mixed with the pop sensibilities of X Ambassadors.

"Heaven" has a big chorus with it having more synths than previously with the shimmering guitar tones ebbing and flowing throughout the background. The single is big enough to be compared to that of Bastille, with the mixing of pop, electronics, indie and rock also abundant in their music a right treat for yours, that's for sure.

If you like the sound of Ben Kidson's new cut so far feel free to head to his Spotify to follow him, as there are three more tunes for you to sink your teeth in. By the sounds of it "Heaven" should send Ben into the forefront of the London electro-rock scene, expect to see him play some high profile showcases when it's possible, labels will be all over him.
