Seatbelts release big new single "Sinful City"

Liverpool based quartet Seatbelts have released their fantastic new single "Sinful City", which is their second release of 2020 following on from their tune "Super Stardom".

The foursome's sound can be compared to that of Arcade Fire and Blossoms with enough horns to give it a groovy 80's kinda feel, but with enough dreamy sounds to give it some big atmosphere. Written about the temptations found in a big city, with the vocalist singing "A lifestyle on constant trial / Despair and desperation take hope" - which I'm sure a lot of people can relate to all over the world.

With over 40k streams from two EPs and a handful of singles Seatbelts seem like the sort of band that are biding their time and are just releasing quality music. It's not all about throwing any old release out - we're looking at you The 1975 - it's down to quality, and these four musicians know how to craft a song that hooks you from the start.

Maybe it's the horns, maybe it's the smooth vocals, honest lyrics and or the slick instrumentation and guitars - who knows - but one thing is for sure, you'll be smashing the repeat button a good few times, we're sure of it.
