VALA share new indie-pop track "Only One"

VALA are a Manchester based quartet and recently they've shared their new indie-pop track "Only One", which is the follow-up to their "Say You Want it (That Way)" single which dropped earlier on in 2020.

The new single was recorded entirely by the band in their own living room and kitchen, it was mixed in that very same kitchen by indie-pop artist Sfven (Jamie Clarke). The track was finally mastered by Alex Wharton at none other than the world famous Abbey Road Studios.

"Only One" has some delightful guitar tones that are perfect for a warm summers day, add in the vocals that remind us of The Vaccines' soft and surf-esque Justin Hayward-Young mixed with The Strokes' Julian Casablancas helping to give the track that drive.

VALA's instrumentation sounds like The Strokes if they wrote an indie-pop chillout anthem, and the band know how to write viral tunes - a previous single so far has had over 33k plays on Spotify - and also getting the attention of BBC Introducing Manchester along with praise from Amazing Radio's 'The Unsigned Guide' show.

"Only One" is a track that you will love from the world go, so be sure to put this into your road trip playlists as it's one we would love to drive down an empty road with the roof down and the sun kissing you as you drive on.

It's no wonder the band are creating tracks like this now, with a few years since they'e been releasing music they're finally getting the attention they deserve. So head on down and check out this indie-pop gem.
