Tom John Hall reveals honest new single "At The Office"

Tom John Hall has recently revealed his honest new single "At The Office", which is his third song of 2020 following on from "Who's Watching You" - which is a laid back ballad which has big The Beatles and Arctic Monkeys sounds on it - and "Human" - which is more of an experimental take on his sound, a blend of Radiohead and Psych-Rock.

"At The Office" is lifted off his forthcoming double album and has some honest storytelling with relatable lyrics, add in some lovely northern vocals and Tom has got a song you'd love from the off. The singer-songwriter has been already playlisted by Gigmit and has had his previous tunes played live on Radio X and BBC Introducing.

The Derby based singer-songwriter sounds like a top bloke with his down to earth music, combine that with reverb laced guitar tones with a sprinkling of psychedelic hidden away in the song, you're given a new single that is an absolute pleasure to listen to.

The track seems to ends far too quick for my liking, but I found myself revisiting it a good few times which may be a master-stroke as he'll soon be racking up the plays! Speaking about the track's Tom says - " ... "At The Office" is a song about work. It’s also about not being able to be your weird self in the artificial environment of an office and landing yourself in a situation you just can’t identify with. Probably an all too familiar scenario for shy creatives"

"At The Office" is taken off Tom John Hall's forthcoming double-album "My Big Album", which is out soon, and as far as we're concerned it could be one of the finest bedroom-pop records to be recorded during isolaton. So head below to check out his latest offering!
