small dogs drop chilled-out debut single "dar es salaam"

small dogs has recently dropped his rather chilled-out debut single "dar es salaam", which is a fantastic single to launch his new project. The cut was written to take the listener through a trip through a pre-covid world where you can wander the world without (too much) problems.

small dogs - known to his friends as George Barnett - is a London born singer-songwriter who has recently moved to New York City. The delicate track is backed up with some haunting vocals both in the forefront and background, with some crisp instrumentation reminding us of the production of Glass Animals and James Blake in places too.

What makes this track even more beautiful is that it was written between two locations, and adding in the fact that George couldn't travel to the producer in Liverpool (due to obvious reasons) helps enhance the track even more. This is a labour of love between George and his childhood friend Rich Bond, with endless calls, WeTransfers, Zoom calls and ideas floating about we're left with this truly sonic and haunting track right here.

If this is small dogs' debut then he's got an exciting time ahead of him!
