The Pretty Visitors share anthemic "Head In The Sand"

The Pretty Visitors share their anthemic new offering "Head In The Sand", the band have been together since 2019, and after a string of four demos the band last year released their first 'proper' single "Mystery Woman".

At the back end of 2020 the Portsmouth foursome dropped their anthemic new cut, "Head In The Sand"

Crunching basslines, soaring guitars, and rampant drums mixed in with some urgent vocals - The Pretty Visitors have created an exciting anthem ready to entice you into their world.

The Portsmouth based act thankfully have played a few gigs before everything was put on hold in 2020, having performed at The Wedgewood Rooms, The Joiners, and Heartbreakers - all highly respectable venues along the South Coast of England - with the high points being support slots with Circa Waves and JAWS.

As their name suggests they're fans of Arctic Monkeys - named after one of their songs - and with that, you can hear some of their influence floating about on "Head in the Sand" - the way the track builds up from the start, adding more layers on one another, the commanding vocals and almost storytelling lyrics help you get drawn into their sound.

The verses are where the band shine, with those screeching guitar tones, warm basslines, and driving drum patterns really pushes the track and gives you a long-lasting impression.

There's no doubt that this band is maturing more and more as the tracks and releases go by. So be sure to head to their Spotify and go give them a follow, their next tune is eagerly awaited not by just us, but by their fans too - do yourself a favour, give it a listen!
