Billy Bligh reveals downtempo debut single "Inertia"

Hailing from the South Coast of England, Billy Bligh today has revealed his debut single "Inertia". The tune is rather downtempo and chilled out, the cut is very ambient from the intro, with delicate piano keys and effect-laden vocal cords giving you goosebumps as you listen from the get-go.

There's a lot of finger snaps, skitty drums that sound like they've been lifted from a Radiohead track, haunting vocals, and some delicious synth lines that remind us of Daft Punk tunes.

What Billy has done here is mould a few major genres together and has created a track that captures the listener from the off, and considering this is his debut release too this couldn't be more perfect as we're already wanting more.

Speaking about the release Billy says - "I wrote and produced the song from my home studio at the start of last year. it explores the emotional turbulence and feelings of apprehension behind momentous choices."
