Józio unveils dreamy single "Wait For Us"

Brighton based Józio has recently dropped his dreamy new cut, "Wait For Us", which has a wide variety of genres and elements present.

Starting off from the beginning we have some Spanish guitar sounding tones mixed in with some ambient cityscape noises. His vocals come in and you're warmed up like a bug in a rug, there's a subtle use of auto-tune here but not too overpowering.

As the track progresses it keeps on building, picking the pace up with rushing electronic elements before parting way for the bridge, giving us a glimpse into his 1980's based influences.

The final minute of the track really stands out as this is everything that Józio does best, creating ambient and yet dreamy alt-pop. Considering he also produced the track as well as writing, singing, and composing it, he's done a fantastic job - no wonder BBC Introducing love his work too.

Speaking about the track Jozio says - "The single was written in the deepest depths of the miserable dark pit of a year that was 2020, and deals with the forced separation of two people living in different countries as well as the feelings involved in long-distance relationships."
